BEST-PRACTICE WASTE MANAGEMENT ON DISPLAY AT WASTE EXPO 2023

14 September 2023

With a nearly sold-out roster of international and Australian suppliers across waste and resource recovery, Waste Expo Australia 2023 promises to be an exciting sourcing platform and venue for discovering new innovations in the sector.

On October 25 and 26, over 2,300 attendees will pass through the doors of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition centre. While the 100+ exhibitors are a strong drawcard, the premium free-to-attend conference running alongside the exhibition also features compelling thought leadership, case studies and industry discussions.

Returning as an exhibitor for the second year in a row, TOMRA believes strongly in a world without waste. To exhibit the business’s operations in collections, sorting and recycling with an emphasis on the circular economy, Waste Expo Australia is a natural fit. Brent Murray, Senior Business Development Manager from TOMRA Collections says they’re looking forward to the connections and conversations generated at Waste Expo.

"With the imminent launch of Victoria's Container Deposit Scheme, TOMRA are excited to exhibit our new, accessible CDS technology that will appear across network operator TOMRA Cleanaway's West Zone. Waste Expo Australia has always been a key initiative for us to directly connect with the industry, and gives us the opportunity to showcase our adaptable range of Reverse Vending Solutions and how seamlessly they integrate into our communities."

Waste Expo Australia is excited to welcome Komatsu to the exhibition for the first time in 2023. Komatsu are hoping to dig deep on conversations at the exhibition, showcasing the company’s capability in machinery for waste handling, demolition and recycling. Dean Gaedtke, Executive General Manager, Construction and Utility from Komatsu says Waste Expo Australia is a great opportunity to engage with industry professionals to better understand their needs.

“Together, we envision a future where innovation enhances sustainability, reshaping the waste industry landscape. This sponsorship underscores our commitment to innovative solutions that not only address today’s challenges, but also set a transformative course for tomorrow.”

Another big name in heavy equipment parts and servicing, Earthmoving Equipment Australia, will also be on the exhibition floor, showcasing their versatility in supplying to the sector. Gary Roberts, GM of EEA Materials Processing, says their team is looking forward to meeting attendees from across the waste, recycling and resource recovery sectors.

“It’s a great opportunity for us to be showcasing our products at the waste expo. Our Bandit 4680T horizontal grinder will be on display at the show, along with our Cast mini loaders attached with safety shield technology, and our dust suppression range. We believe our products on display are perfectly suited for attendees across the waste and recycling industry.”

The exhibition’s expanded floor plan is nearly at capacity, with less than 10 exhibitor stands remaining.

Waste Expo Australia’s exhibition and conference is free to attend. Register online ahead of the conference to avoid queueing on the day, by visiting https://www.wasteexpoaustralia.com.au
