Getting Full Value from Hospital Recycling

Do you want to join the more than 50 hospitals participating in the PVC Recycling in Hospitals program in Victoria? Do you want to expand your PVC recycling across your hospital?  PVC recycling in hospitals can help improve staff morale, reduce waste costs and is a visible commitment to improving sustainability.  Depending upon your location, collection is low cost or free to implement, and you can learn from others already recycling PVC.

Timed to coincide with Waste Expo Australia and All-Energy Australia exhibitions, the Vinyl Council of Australia is holding a forum with practical presentations:

• How the PVC Recycling in Hospital program works
• Expanding from a PVC recycling pilot to a whole hospital
• Working with cleaning contractors on moving recycling bins
• Cutting clinical and general waste costs
• Integrating PVC recycling into environmental management planning and staff training
• Using waste data to drive improvements in morale and performance.

Time: Wednesday 11 Oct, 8.30am registration for 8.45 start, incl morning tea.

Participants gain free access to the Waste Expo Australia and All-Energy Australia at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
Guest speakers will be confirmed closer to the date and registrations open in mid-June.
